three-day course targeted for physicians, nurses, PAs, NPs, medical assistants,
dentists, pharmacists, and other medical personnel is <b><span
style='font-weight:bold'>an intensive, individually tailored, conversational
and medical Spanish workshop consisting of medical dialogues, role-plays, many
colorful visual aids, cross-cultural discussions, “edutainment”,
daily practice, and evening study with work-books and tapes</span></b> (additional
fee, optional). The course curriculum provides an experience of immersion
learning, an approach that has repeatedly proven to be extremely suitable for
those with limited time, and who must use their new language skills immediately
with their Spanish-speaking patients about feelings, attitudes and
culture. Participants will be divided into sub-groups in accordance with
their Spanish language skills. Each group will receive instruction with a
professional trainer from Rios and Associates, leaders in medical Spanish
language education.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
